Power Church: Powerlifting Formulated for Women by Women

Powerlifting is an extraordinary sport comprised of the main compound barbell movements Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. These are important movements for anyone to master for full functionality, but as women, we require different training volume to build strength, so why would you do programming not designed with you in mind? So many of us grew up with heroin chic being the beauty standard, being pushed calorie restrictions and cardio, being told to take up less space. Power Church is here to facilitate women in unlocking the power and strength in their own body. Focusing on strength, healing eating disorders, understanding that food is fuel for your body and the cool things its capable of, not a way to punish or reward ourselves. Words truly cannot describe how much Michelle’s powerlifting class has changed my life for the better.
